Ian continues to work for Inland Power and Light and still enjoys working with all the wonderful people there. In January, he became the Supervisor of Member Services and in September the entire facility moved from downtown Spokane out to Four Lakes. It makes for a longer commute, but the building is beautiful.
Christy is still working at Summit School, a choice school, in Central Valley School District. After teaching first and second grade for five years, it seemed like a change was due. In September she made a career change and left the classroom all together. Still working with the teachers at Summit, Christy now is the school’s instructional guide. This position allows for Christy to help teachers understand and teach in the Expeditionary Learning model. It has been a huge change!
Shane continues to grow and develop into a little boy! He turned 2 on August 22 up at Priest Lake with his Nana, Papa, Gran, Papa Hunt and all his Aunties, Uncles, and cousins. In July, he also got to take his first fishing trip to Ketchikan, Alaska with Gran and Papa Hunt (Swan). He was a natural fisherman and loved being out on the boat and down at the dock. He is talking up a storm and getting into all sorts of trouble!
